VILNIUS - The United States' 24-million-euro investment in the Lithuanian Air Force Base in Siauliai has tripped its capacity to host allied aircraft, Deputy Defense Minister Eimutis Misiunas said on Wednesday.
"US investments into Lithuania’s defense infrastructure demonstrate that Lithuania remains an important priority in the US defense policy," Misiunas said in a press release.
"By strengthening capabilities of the Lithuanian Air Force Base along with the US, we have tripled the Lithuanian Air Force Base capacity...
