Green Connect, an architectural project by British company Zaha Hadid Architects, has been deemed the best for a new railway station complex in Vilnius, called Vilnius Connect, the Lithuanian capital's authorities said on September 23.
Vilnius top architect Mindaugas Pakalnis says the Zaha Hadid Architects office knows Vilnius well and has a lot of experience in designing such areas. It is already designing the Rail Baltica railway's station in Tallinn.
