Iute Group's insurance solutions company Iute Affinity has partnered with global healthcare provider Further to give customers access to Second Medical Opinion and advanced Precision CancerCare services across Iute markets.

The partnership strengthens Iute Affinity's growing portfolio of insurance and wellbeing services, while also supporting Iute Group's ambition to build a digital bank that helps customers manage more aspects of their everyday lives through a single ecosystem.

“Through our strategic partnership with Further, a global leader in Second Medical Opinion and Precision CancerCare services, Iute’s customers will gain access to internationally recognised medical specialists, advanced diagnostic insights, and personalised treatment recommendations. This gives customers access to innovative healthcare solutions and greater peace of mind when it matters most,” said Alma Ribanovic, CEO of Iute Affinity.

The partnership brings customers access to two highly valuable healthcare services. Further’s Second Medical Opinion service enables people facing serious illnesses to have their diagnosis and treatment plan independently reviewed by leading international medical experts. In addition, Further’s Precision CancerCare service combines molecular profiling, advanced laboratory analysis and expert medical review to create highly personalised cancer treatment recommendations.

Further's services provide customers with access to internationally recognised medical specialists, advanced cancer diagnostics and personalised treatment recommendations without the need to independently navigate complex global healthcare networks.

“At Further, we focus on connecting patients with the right expertise at the right moment, especially when facing complex and serious conditions. Through our partnership with Iute, we can now support many more people across Southeast Europe with trusted second opinions and advanced cancer diagnostics,” said Frank Ahedo, CEO at Further.

Insurance has become one of the fastest-growing parts of Iute's business. Today, Iute serves more than 247,000 active customers across Southeast Europe, with more than 21% of them already using insurance solutions. In the first quarter of 2026, Iute Group’s insurance intermediation revenue grew by 71.4% year-on-year.

The partnership with Further supports Iute Affinity’s goal of making insurance and protection services more accessible through Iute’s digital banking ecosystem. Insurance solutions are already available across all Iute markets – Albania, North Macedonia, Moldova and Bulgaria – and the company plans to introduce Further’s Second Medical Opinion and Precision CancerCare services during the third quarter of 2026.

“Serious health conditions often come with uncertainty and difficult decisions. By combining world-class medical expertise with advanced precision medicine capabilities, we can help customers gain greater clarity and confidence in their treatment journey,” said Ribanovic. “Our goal is to make healthcare support that was previously available only to a limited number of people accessible to hundreds of thousands of customers across our markets,” she concluded.
