Warming of Baltic Sea waters favorable for Vibrio bacteria growth

Warming waters in the Baltic Sea are favorable for the growth of Vibrio bacteria, which may pose a threat of infection, Lithuania’s Center for Communicable Diseases and AIDS (ULAC) warned on June 29. The center expects high levels of bacteria to be found in Klaipeda County and in Parnu, Estonia.
