  • 2019-10-03
Seimas, Lithuanian legislature, on September 12 backed President Gitanas Nauseda's proposal to dismiss two judges of the country's Court of Appeal. Judge Kestutis Jucys will be dismissed in response to his own request, and Judge Konstantinas Gurinas will be sacked for the humiliation of a judge's name. The two judges are involved in a high-profile judicial corruption case.
