HalfPrice, an international off-price player offering branded products at very attractive prices, entered the Estonian market, opening the first shop in Tallinn’s T1 Center today.

The new HalfPrice store is located at the city-side wing of T1, on the second floor where the store covers about 3000 square meters. The shop is open daily, from 10:00 to 20:00 like all trade in T1.

“HalfPrice, as a relatively young brand in the international MODIVO PLATFORM, is already a success story with operations in 15 countries, including the newest addition Estonia. We see a strong potential in the Estonian market and T1 as our first location has convinced HalfPrice with its new concept and ongoing turnaround. From our side, we ensure customers access to a wide assortment of branded products at attractive prices, both popular international casual brands and exclusive high-fashion labels,” said Leonas Truksinas, MODIVO PLATFORM General Manager in the Baltics.

“The significance of HalfPrice’s entry to Estonia goes beyond launching an ambitious and fast-expanding off-price chain to our market. The opening signals confidence in growth perspectives of the Estonian retail sector that is on the road to recovery. Namely, after a longer break, HalfPrice is the first major international retail chain to enter the Estonian market. For T1, the arrival of HalfPrice as an anchor tenant marks a major shift for the center’s second floor, where the center will be creating a hub of outlets and discounter-type shops,” said Tarmo Hõbe, CEO of T1.

Colliers Estonia acted as an advisor in the agreement signed between HalfPrice and T1.

HalfPrice is one of the fastest-growing retail chains in Europe, which represents an off-price arm of the MODIVO PLATFORM. Opening the first shops in Poland in May 2021, HalfPrice today operates over 240 shops, in addition to the home country in Czechia, Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Latvia and Lithuania. Estonia is now the fifteenth market where the brand is successfully operating.

HalfPrice’s assortment includes thousands of products from well-known brands across multiple categories — from fashion, footwear, and accessories to homeware and pet products. A key element of the business model is direct cooperation with brands and their official distributors, enabling the company to offer attractive prices while maintaining high quality standards.

The off-price concept, long established and highly popular in the United States, is gaining increasing recognition among European consumers seeking premium brands at accessible prices.
