OECD: Estonian education's biggest problems are teachers, students not graduating

TALLINN - A recent assessment by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) shows that Estonia’s key issues in education are its teachers, the demographic structure, the high rate of students failing to graduate university, and education costs focusing on real estate. The report, titled Education at a Glance, indicates that a significant portion of funding reserved for education is spent on fixed assets, while the percentage of teachers' salaries in operating costs is small.
