Paksas lands in Adamkus' office

VILNIUS - Former Prime Minister Rolandas Paksas did not remain unemployed long. This professional pilot landed in the presidential palace. He agreed to become the envoy for the special assignments of President Valdas Adamkus on Nov. 15. And Paksas does not limit his career to this post - he is now creating his own political party. Paksas resigned from his post of prime minister on Oct. 27 protesting the sale of the Lithuanian oil sector to U.S. Williams International. This deal can cause financial harm, according to Paksas.
