Sweeping annexation

Several observers have for some time turned Western attention to dangerous developments in Russia's foreign policy. Edward Lucas has warned the world in his book "New Cold War" on the start of the new Cold War. Unfortunately, all such warnings have been ignored. In the Bucharest summit, the West acted in the opposite way suggested by Lucas 's thanks to the veto from Germany and France, Ukraine and Georgia were not invited to the Membership Action Plan (MAP). In addition, even as in the communique of the Summit,  NATO made a promise to grant these countries in the future full membership...
