Lithuania's Tripartite Council, uniting the government, some employers and trade unions, has failed to agree on increasing the minimum monthly wage as of next year.
Inga Ruginiene, chair of the Lithuanian Confederation of Trade Unions, who chairs the Council, said it was agreed to postpone the adoption of this decision for two weeks.
"We made the decision during this sitting to make the final decision during the next meeting and there can be no further postponements," she said.
