RIGA - On November 16, as part of a large-scale multimedia tour, pioneers of electronic music Kraftwerk will perform at the Riga concert hall Palladium, concert organizers told LETA.

This series of concerts is dedicated to the long creative path of the band, which, for the general public, began 50 years ago with the release of the landmark album Autobahn.

The two-hour audiovisual performance will feature all of the band's most famous hits: The Man-Machine, Spacelab, The Model, The Robots, Autobahn, Computer Love, Tour de France, Radioactivity, Musique Non Stop, etc.

Founded in the late 1960s by Dusseldorf Conservatory graduates Ralph Hutter and Florian Schneider, the quartet has influenced a range of contemporary genres from techno and EDM to hip hop and synth pop. The band became known for its "robot pop" style, created using synthesizers, samplers, voice transducers and self-developed instruments.

In 2014, Hutter and his former creative partner Schneider were awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and in 2021 the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
