Law enforcement authorities have started a criminal investigation after the body of a businessman who went missing in 2000 was unearthed a few days ago in the western Latvian town of Aizpute. Gita Gzibovska, a representative of the State Police, told BNS that the probe has been started over murder, but declined to elaborate.
