RIGA - The birth of Christ is a confirmation that man was created for life and mutual exchange of love, the Archbishop of Riga Metropolitan Zbignevs Stankevics pointed out in his Christmas greeting.
According to him, this life can come into the world and develop harmoniously only in a stable family formed by a mother and father.
"The holy family is like a reflection of the Triune God - the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit on earth," notes Stankevics, adding that every family is urged to be such a reflection of the Holy Trinity.
