World must increase pressure on Lukashenko

TALLINN - Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Reinsalu said at a meeting with Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya in Munich that the world must increase its pressure on dictator Alexander Lukashenko.

"At the Munich Conference, I gave the G7 foreign ministers (from Japan, the United Kingdom, and Canada) a message about the need to impose additional sanctions on raw material against Russia," Reinsalu wrote on social media.

"With the Ukrainian foreign minister, we discussed the upcoming activities in the UN. At the meeting with the democratic leader of Belarus, I reaffirmed the need to strengthen pressure on Lukashenko," he said.

Reinsalu also met with his colleagues from Jordan, Sweden, South Korea, Romania, Norway, Latvia and Malta as well as with the prime minister of Armenia.
