Women's average salary still lags men's in Lithuania

VILNIUS – Men's average monthly pre-tax salary was 141 euros bigger than women's in Lithuania in the first quarter, new figures from the Statistics Lithuania show.

Women's average pre-tax salary made 85.4 percent (pre-tax) and 87.1 percent (after-tax) of men's average salary.

Statistics show women's average pre-tax salary stood at 825.4 euros in Lithuania and men's was 966.5 euros. Average after-tax salaries were 652.4 and 749.1 euros respectively.
