RIGA – The upcoming presidential elections in Russia are not expected to bring any surprises and change Russia’s foreign policy, said Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics (Unity).
He said in an interview with the Latvian public radio today that he is quite confident Russian President Vladimir Putin will remain in the office for another term .
Meanwhile, the elections might bring some changes in relation to economic policy, structural reforms.
Latvian-Russian bilateral relations will remain on the same level, said Rinkevics.
