Ukraine to bid for EU membership in 2024 - Poroshenko

KYIV - Ukraine will try to join the European Union in 2024, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.

"We will submit a bid to join the European Union in 2024. And there can be no doubt that we will be granted and will start implementing a NATO Membership Action Plan," Petro Poroshenko said at an international forum in Kyiv on Tuesday.
