RIGA - Latvia will be represented at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna by singer Atvara with her song Ena, which won the Latvian Public Media (LSM) competition Supernova 2026 on Saturday evening.
Atvara beat the other nine contestants in the combined audience and jury vote.
Second place in the Supernova 2026 final went to Kautkaili with the song Te un Tagad (Here and Now), and third place went to Emilija with the song All We Ever Had.
As previously reported by LSM, 124 songs were submitted to this year's Supernova competition. A jury selected by LSM, consisting of representatives from the Latvian music industry, event sector and television, as well as foreign professionals, selected 24 songs for the semi-finals. In two semi-finals, the audience and jury voted to select the ten best songs to compete in the final.
Latvia will perform in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna on May 14 and, if successful, in the final on May 16.
