RIGA - This year's Riga Pride, an event promoting inclusion and equality in Latvia's society, will take place from May 29 to June 4, Kaspars Zalitis, a representative of LGBT rights group Mozaika, informed LETA.
The program of the Riga Pride week includes various events, including a Diversity and Inclusion Forum, an international conference on human rights and democracy, various roundtables, workshops, exhibitions, film shows and concerts.
The Pride week will end on June 3 with a Riga pride parade gathering thousands of participants. The parade will be followed by a festive concert featuring Latvian artists, while the Pride Quarter Brianija will host the closing party of the Riga Pride.
Mozaika organizes Riga Pride in collaboration with Active Rainbow, Latvia's Diversity Charter, Skapis pub, Brianija and numerous other nongovernmental organizations, cultural venues, companies and international institutions.
