The United States restored military aid to Latvia worth $4.5 million. Aide was cut off after Latvia refused to give U.S. soldiers immunity from the International Criminal Court. In addition to Latvia, the United States reinitiated aid to Estonia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Bulgaria.The French magazine Elle included the autobiography of Foreign Minister Sandra Kalniete on its books of the month list.
