Foreign Minister Antanas Valionis met with President Rolandas Paksas on Nov. 24 to discuss the latter's state visit to the U.S.A., scheduled for Dec. 8. Paksas has repeatedly stated he hoped to carry out the visit as planned earlier in spite of the current scandal and absence of a presidential advisory team. According to Valionis, Paksas and George W.
