The Russian press in Latvia is biased on NATO issues, NATO Parliamentary Assembly Secret-ary General Simon Lunn said recently. Lunn referred specifically to the Russian-language daily Chas, which portrayed the NATO delegation as being critical of Latvia's treatment of minority rights, though he said the delegation's comments were taken out of context.A Russian Orthodox cemetery was vandalized in the Pokrova region of Riga on Halloween.
