Tarmu Tammerk will become the new editor-in-chief of the Postimees, the country's largest daily, from November 2003. Tammerk, one of the authors of Estonian journalistic ethics code, has previously worked as an editor of The Estonian Independent and a correspondent of Reuters and AFP. Mart Kadastik, chairman of the council of Postimees Ltd., said the newspaper is published in a rapidly changing society and has to carry new ideas.
