VILNIUS - Lithuania intends to mark its accession to the European family by presenting Brussels with an original monument - a Eurogate."Lithuania is coming to take as well as to give. The Eurogate - our gift - could accentuate this attitude on the occasion of the EU entry. Triumphal arches, glory gates are built to mark most significant historical events," the sculptor, Leonas Pivoriunas, told the Respublika daily.Lithuania is set to become a full-fledged EU member on May 1, 2004.
