RIGA - The Environment Ministry released a five-year environmental policy plan onAug. 21 detailing how the country should come up to speed with related EUstandards ­ and merely that, according to some nongovernmentalorganizations."Of course the new referendum somehow plays an important role because ournew environmental policy plan is 100 percent accession-oriented.
