RIGA - The Latvian Development Agency is currently preparing to take on the role of distributing new EU funds for private business.The agency, a nonprofit company established in 1993 by the government to attract direct foreign investment, is in the midst of assembling approximately 10 grant schemes to accommodate support for different types of commercial activity, ranging from technology transfer to business infrastructure development to quality system development.
