EU military development outpaces expectations

RFE/RL, PRAGUE - The European Union appears to be rapidly developing its new military arm since its first-ever deployment of peacekeeping troops earlier this year in Macedonia. As EU forces made an appearance in France's traditional Bastille Day military parade, countries have begun proposing future actions for the newly formed troops.
