Famous cyclist dies in road tragedy

TALLINN - Estonia's notoriously poor driving culture made headlines again last week as one of the country's most famous cyclists was run down and killed by a drunk driver over the weekend. Lauri Aus was struck in Tartu county on the morning of July 19 while riding to a local cycling competition.Thirty-two-year-old Aus, a member of the Ag2r professional cyclist team, later died on the way to the hospital.Police arrested the 54-year-old driver involved and launched a criminal investigation.
