Poland will not accept 'federal' Europe

WARSAWAny change introducing a federal make-up of the European Union is unacceptable for Poland which will join the EU next year, Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski said in an interview published July 5."We cannot accept the idea of a federal Europe because we are too attached to our country," Kwasniewski told the daily newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza.In the interview Kwasniecki warned against going back on EU decisions enshrined in the Nice Treaty which went into effect on Feb. 1.
