Belarus expels reporter

MINSKBelarus expelled a Russian journalist on June 28 for a report on a late dissident novelist that the government condemned as provocative and biased.The report, broadcast on Russia's NTV channel, contained "unobjective, biased and provocative information aimed at tarnishing the image of the authorities," the Foreign Ministry said.The ministry stripped Pavel Selin of his press accreditation, banned the journalist from entering the country for five years and asked the courts to close down NTV's office in Minsk until the station issued a televized apology."We worked as a mirror, and today B...
