Greenpeace targets Ventspils-bound tanker

RIGAActivists from the environmental group Greenpeace interfered with a single-hulled oil tanker trying to dock at the Latvian port of Ventspils on May 29 in an attempt to draw attention to what it says are unsafe ships treading Baltic waters.Three groups of protesters in inflatable boats harassed the 27-year-old Cyprus-registered tanker Enias as it entered the Ventspils harbor and were met with water cannons from aboard the 192-meter ship.
