TARTUEncouraged by the success of its pay-by-phone bus ticket project, the city of Tartu will make the experiment permanent and is hoping to introduce long-awaited new features for Estonia's hi-tech but underused ID card.The mobile telephone operator EMT and Tartu's city bus operator Connex signed a long-term contract last week that continues the "M-ticketing" system, which allows customers to pay their bus fare using their mobile telephones.
