VILNIUS (BNS) - The Seimas, Lithuania's parliament, and the U.S. Senate have signed an unprecedented agreement on parliamentary cooperation, MP Emanuelis Zingeris has said.The agreement, signed during a visit by a group of Lithuanian MPs to Washington in September, is expeced to encourage contacts between Parliament members and senators.The document was signed by the chairman of the Senate's Baltic Caucus, Richard Durbin, who is of Lithuanian origin, and the chairman of the Seimas' group for relations with the United States, Emanuelis Zingeris.
