Historic church tower to be back on top

TALLINNTourguides like to point out a certain spot on Tallinn's Town Hall Square where visitors, if they stand on their toes and stretch their necks, can catch a glimpse of all five of the Old Town's famous spires. For the last year though, the trick hasn't worked. The ornate, baroque spire that used to top the Puhavaimu Kirik, or Holy Spirit Church, right next to the square has been conspicuously absent since last May 29 when it was damaged in a devastating fire. From that time on, the church has been left looking somewhat like a headless goose, much to the depression of Tallinn's resident...
