Violent demonstration at U.S. Embassy

TALLINNSeveral hundred demonstrators opposed to the war in Iraq on March 30 pelted the U.S. Embassy in Tallinn with eggs, bottles and smoke bombs, and even completely destroyed one of the embassy's security vehicles.The demonstrators, holding banners that said "Make Love Not War" and "Bush is a Terrorist," rallied first in Tallinn's Town Hall Square, and then marched toward Kentmanni Street, several blocks away, where the embassy is located.The particular block where the embassy is located has been closed to traffic since 2001, and since the war in Iraq began last March it has had two polic...
