Slovenians support both NATO, EU membership

LJUBLJANASlovenian leaders on March 23 welcomed the results of two referendums that gave overwhelming support to joining NATO and the European Union next year.Prime Minister Anton Rop hailed the outcome as a chance to bring the former Yugoslav state into the fold of a stable and prosperous Western Europe."I'm very satisfied with these results," said Rop.
