Poll: minorities cast ballots for Paksas

VILNIUSMore than three-fourths of Lithuania's Russian and Polish ethnic minority populations voted for Rolandas Paksas in the second round of presidential elections.According to a poll released Feb. 5 by Baltijos Tyrimai (Baltic Surveys), 77 percent of ethnic Russians and 76 percent of ethnic Poles said they voted for Paksas, the victor in the Jan. 5 run-off election.
