RIGAZanetas, 29, is one of the 742 registered HIV carriers in Lithuania. He contracted HIV in 1997 through intravenous drug use and is now an inpatient at the DrugUsers' Social Rehabilitation Community in Vilnius. Zanetas occupies one of the much-coveted 13 spaces paid for by the state. In brisk Russian, he spoke about his condition openly."Back then, only about 30 people in Lithuania were HIV positive.
