Despite expansion, Swedes, Finns remain NATO-skeptic

HELSINKI-STOCKHOLMIn the wake of NATO's historic seven-country expansion, traditionally neutral Finns and Swedes remain opposed to joining the military bloc, though support for the alliance is slowly increasing. Finnish support for joining NATO is on the rise but remains low at just 24 percent, according to a poll published Jan. 15.
