VILNIUSProgress on the reconstruction of the Royal Palace in Vilnius is moving along well.The palace's original foundations and cellars have been dug out and are being protected against the harsh winter elements, while over 200 piles have been sunk in the earth to hold the burden of the new structure. Soon the outer structure of this integral part of ancient Lithuanian heritage will be erected.
