Estonians rescue Russian fishing crew

TALLINN (BNS) - Early in the morning Nov. 13, border guards retrieved 19 crew members of a Russian fishing vessel in the Gulf of Finland."This was the biggest rescue operation in the history of the Estonian border guard's sea rescue team," said a guard spokesman.None of the crew needed medical attention, but their boat was in bad shape.The border guard's maritime surveillance center received a call at 2: 10 a.m. from Russian border guards saying that the Russian fishing vessel Voskhod had run aground near the island of Maly Tyuters.
