New government takes office

TALLINN - Just three weeks after general elections, Estonia's new government has been sworn into office.Headed by Prime Minister Mart Laar, the government gave its oath of office March 25. The session also saw the departure of outgoing Prime Minister Mart Siimann's Cabinet. Siimann, who will remain in Parliament as an MP, offered a greeting to the new government, but warned that the task it faces is not an easy one.
