TEL AVIV (BNS/AFP) - Israel disclosed March 11 that it had arrested a former Air Force technician born in Riga suspected of passing secrets to the former Soviet Union and then Russia for nearly 20 years.Valery Kaminsky, 53, was arrested a month ago, but a court gag order prevented publication of the news until he was brought before the Tel Aviv district court March 11 to have his remand extended.The court ordered him held until the end of legal proceedings against him.Kaminsky was accused of endangering state security by passing secrets to the Soviet intelligence service, KGB, and its Russi...
