Russia to aid Baltic Russian schools

MOSCOW (BNS) - Russian authorities intend to map out a plan for giving financial aid to Russian schools in the Baltic states and other areas of Moscow's "near abroad."Assistance to Russian schools was discussed in Moscow at a Feb. 19 meeting among representatives of schools from the Baltic states and the CIS countries, Russian Ethnic Affairs Minister Ramazan Abdulatipov and the Estonian Russian Social Foundation's Vladimir Lebedev."We already have several ideas for helping.
