VILNIUS - They are looking for a new home. Many are fleeing oppression and poverty and are used to hunger. Now they sometimes have too much food; they return half-full plates after dinner.They are tired. Until recently, they were at the mercy of people smugglers, many of whom leave them far from their intended Western European destinations for convenience sake. Most were determined to reach Germany, Sweden or some other country in the West. For now, they sit and wait in Lithuania.When it comes to refugees, Lithuania is no Germany, or even England.
