Two Latvians busted for cocaine smuggling

RIGA (BNS) - Latvian police detained at Riga Airport Jan. 30 a man and woman who, they say, were trying to smuggle 1.86 kilograms of cocaine into the country.Daira Silava, 35, and Rolands Priverts, 36, were taken into custody shortly after their flight, which originated in Venezuela and after stop-overs in New York and Zurich, landed in Riga.
