RIGA - After Lithuania received a warning from London that its visa-free regime with the United Kingdom could end, speculation quickly began in Latvia that the country would suffer the same fate.The Riga-based Russian language newspaper SM reported that British immigration officials may make the move to cope with a rise in the number of political asylum seekers arriving in London from Latvia.About 2,000 Latvians are already in Great Britain seeking political asylum, and more are coming, according to the report which was published Jan. 20.
