VILNIUS - For Jonas Jonavicius, a photo of an exploded truck and a bogus story about his life being threatened became a ticket to asylum and a more comfortable life in the United Kingdom.Jonavicius (not his real name) was so intent on getting to Britain that he and friends got together and created a phony newspaper article with common desktop publishing software that said Jonavicius was a target of widespread mafia intimidation in Lithuania.
