River suffers along with Ivangorod

TALLINN - The Russian city of Ivangorod started dumping waste into the Narva River Jan 2, when the Estonian company that provides its water and waste water treatment cut off services for overdue bills.Ivangorod is just across the border from the Estonian town of Narva, and experts fear serious environmental damage from the move."If this dumping will continue for a longer time it will be a considerable problem," said George Martin from the Estonian Maritime Academy.
