TALLINN - Maritime experts have moved to reassure the public after the bow of a ferry was twice damaged by heavy waves on separate voyages from Tallinn to Stockholm. Questions about the safety of ro-ro ferries were raised in October when the first incident concerning Estline's Baltic Kristina came to light. The ferry, traveling from Tallinn to Stockholm, suffered damage to its bow visor and arrived five hours late after it was hit by strong waves in stormy weather. In a second incident about five weeks later, the bow visor was again affected although this time suffered only cosmetic damage....
